I sailed on a 14-day South America cruise from Buenos Aires to Rio for Carnaval on the Infinity, and it was a terrific cruise, filled with good service, good food, interesting ports, and interesting people. This 14-day cruise featured 6 marvelous sea days, giving us plenty of time to relax and enjoy the warm austral summer days. The cruise also featured three full days in Rio, which allowed us to see much of that vibrant city. Since much of South America is in the southern hemisphere, December through March is the high cruise season. Cruise passengers can escape the cold winter up north for the sun and heat of Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay.
Here's our Infinity itinerary:
Two days at Sea
Day at Sea
Three days in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil -- including Sugarloaf Mountain, Corcovado Mountain and the Statue of Christ the Redeemer, the Rio beaches, and Carnvaval Samba Parade
Three Days at Sea
Full day and overnight in Buenos Aires before disembarkation
The Celebrity Infinity is a beautiful ship, very elegant yet comfortable. Our six sea days flew by and were filled with entertainment, education, and relaxation. What more could you ask for?
Let's take a look at the cabins, dining, public areas, entertainment, and onboard activities on the Celebrity Infinity.
