Linda Garrison went on her first cruise in 1967 and has been hooked on cruising ever since. Her husband, the About.com Guide to Fishing, has often said that he only has to open the car door and say "Go" and she is ready to travel -- anywhere, anyplace, anytime.
Experience:
Linda has loved to travel her entire life. As a child, she learned to love maps and helped her parents plan many family trips. As an adult, she quickly determined the usefulness of the Internet for planning vacations and expanding her knowledge of the world. Becoming a travel writer was a logical extension of this lifelong passion for travel and learning.
Linda has cruised on a variety of ships from small sailing ships to mega-liners, budget-priced cruises to ultra-expensive. She has also enjoyed cruise destinations on all seven continents and visited dozens of diverse countries via ship, which shows just how much of the world can been seen on a cruise!
Linda has been the About.com Guide to Cruises since July 2000.
From Linda Garrison:
"Cruises are a great vacation for almost everyone who loves to explore new places, meet new people, eat good food, and seek new horizons. My goal is to provide the About.com Cruises Web site visitor with all the information necessary to plan and enjoy the cruise experience as much as I do."
